Can you believe it? Even though we didn't start trading until September last year, Subversive Circuits Limited was incorporated as a limited company exactly one year ago today. It's our birthday!

What a year it's been! Thanks to everyone who has supported us, and a special shout out to our friend and mentor Roni Shachnaey and his lovely wife Laraine.

It's been a blast. We're doing well and will continue to do better. We have some seriously spooky releases coming up, including a very special seance prop based on real Victorian scientific equipment. This will be the first time there has been a real "ghost in the machine".

Well done, man*.

* I can say that with zero irony, because I'm just back from the States again, and the lingo is starting to rub off on me. A bit like some of the young Californian ladies, but the less said about that the better...

Cheers chaps! :D

Celebrations are planned for tomorrow, which is weird because I actually have a very rare gig to do in the afternoon. Only a short one, but a good one. I'm going to teach an entire audience to read thoughts!

Well done Tomo.

It's good to see a company doing well against everything the past years has had to throw at it.

Must be something to do with the management! :D

It's a demonstration of thought reading to get at a randomly chosen card's identity. I do it once and get the right card. Then, I get the audience standing behind me and do it again with an new, forewarned spectator to show how it works. I point out all the little flickers of the eyes, the shifts in position, etc. Anything really, in response to whatever I say, and despite the telling either spec to retain a poker face. The audience thinks I've lifted the curtain and shown them something secret and I get off stage earlier. The actual method means that even though the second spec is forewarned he can't help but respond at the appropriate time without realising, so there are plenty of opportunities for laughs along the way.

Aw shucks. I'm still at the stage of wishing I could offer people tea and biscuits while they wait for their orders. :?
