Hello

Hey all

I am someone who has always been into magic but hasn't really performed since school, the Dynamic coins had me hooked after performing to schoolmates :D

I am just getting back into magic again and have just received some books I ordered, Modern Coin Magic - J.B Bobo, The Royal road to card magic - Jean Hugard and Magic, the complete course by Joshua Jay
Today I have ordered Magic and Showmanship: A Handbook for Conjurers - Henning Nelms

I am attending a Marvins Magic course on Monday (not really sure what to expect), but will probably drop into Davenports on the way home

I love close up magic, and this is what I'm looking to get into with a possible view to some children's entertaining

Hope to post more soon, looks a friendly forum

Alfred

Thanks very much for info Kry

Stephen, have just downloaded your book and am looking forward to it!

Any other suggestions on books warmly welcomed, and maybe best way to spend £50 in Davenports next week?

Hi Alfred. You have chosen some great books. An expanded sh**l and a tt are very handy for close-up, and there is so much you can get out of them. In fact, in my opinion they are two of the greatest gimmicks ever designed :)

Thanks for the welcome

I already had it in mind to buy a new dynamic coin set, and the Svengali deck is now done with a bicycle back, nice. After watching the Joshua Jay DVD I now need an ID and as Jim mentioned a sh**** coin and TT...soon adds up doesn't it
