Don't know if anybody watched this yesterday afternoon....BBC Radio1 Scott Mills show, Dynamo (apologies to anybody who just groaned at the sight of ANOTHER dynamo thread) popped in an performed a trick with a sealed box that he had sent to Scott at the beginning of the week.

Anybody know the method involved in this trick? I just find it all rather odd, that, if it's all to be belived, the box was sealed 5 days before the paper was even printed????

Have a look in 13 Steps, Corinda talks about a similar publicity thingy in (off the top of head) step twelve.

As an aside, I believe the producer for Scott is a performing magician

He does, but says the method is not important!

which should tell you all you need to know. Dynamo's method isnt important. the method you would chose to use, if you were to perform such a routine, is.
and there are hundreds to chose from.

A few years ago it was "I saw Derren Brown do such and such on tv. How do you do it?", now it's Dynamo. Now if I can market hoodies and trainers with built in card revelations I'll make a killing over the next few months...

I think Dynamo should exploit his chav persona, with for example:

Making a giro turn into cash instantly....

Hanging outside a convenience store and influence complete strangers to buy him ten B&H with a handful of change...
