Hummer floating card

Postby Prophet » May 4th, '05, 06:10

Hi. I'm new, and was wondering if I could get a review on the Hummer floating card trick. Here's a link to the place selling it: http://www.magical-tricks.com/Magic%20Tricks1.htm

Thanks for any help.

About the Hummingbird Card

Postby Blade Master » Jun 11th, '05, 01:13

Yes, I own this trick. This trick can run you a good twenty bucks ($20) or only ten bucks ($10) at PenguinMagic.com.

I would recommend this trick to new magitions especially, but advanced magic men would enjoy this trick nicely. The product comes with two "devices" that can be used in several magic situations such as "Card On The Cieling" and also any trick involving a floating dollar, credit card, or practically any light weight object.

This is a visual trick thats fun to watch and can easily entertain children and adults. However I've found that repetition and upclose encounters will ruin it. But over all the worst problem is the setup which can take a few minutes to get ready. And if your "invisible device" gets broken (which it most certainly will) you have to go back a make a new one.

FINAL SCORE: 7/10
DIFFICULTY: Bigginner - Advanced

Prophet, if you use the search function at the top of the page you can look for whatever you want here on talkmagic.co.uk... It's a sad fact that the button gets underused.

Using the search function will link you to a review that you'll find helpful: http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic50.php&highlight=hummer

Hummer Card

Postby StreetMagic101 » Jun 12th, '05, 14:57

It is definitely worth it and depending on the kind of magic u like and your level, u might enjoy it more. You can take someones signed card or credit card or anything small and light and make it float and fly around your body and spin. The card can be examined before and after the trick.
