I don't know anything inpromtu. Which of course means I also cannot direct you to a place to lern such a thing.

Of course there are two books you can buy which covers some basic handling of all types of magic.

Mark Wilson Course In Magic is where I would start. But if you just want coin magic and only coin magic Bobo's Modern Coin Magic is where I would direct you.

Plenty 'o lernin' in both places I recon.

I got ten bucks says we never hear from this person once they realise we aren't going to tell them how Dynamo did any of the effects on his show.

Try looking up how to perform the French Drop, or Muscle pass. They are both in various books and tutorials. Good techniques on getting familiar with coin handling pal.

Then eventually look into sleeving, palming etc.

But Mark Wilson's Complete Course In Magic is an amazing book. Suggest you buy it :)

the single most important thing when watching any street magic on tv is that what you see is rarely what actualy happens.
do a search for the masked magicians expose on street magic especialy his bit on the center tear.

your classic coin in bottle would start with the magician saying will use this coin displays on camera 'retention vanish' conviniently edited out, single handed coin vanish on camera   , wow were did it go, perhapse its in this bottle...... smash..... bobo switch conviently off camera..... is this your signed coin, realy I'm that good.

you don't think blain actualy levitates 3 ft of the ground infront of amased spec do you, but you actualy saw it on tv and in the street so it must have been real right.

tv reality and perception of live events are not always the same. :)

Much agreed. So true.

That usually makes or breaks a magician for me. I disliked David Blaine, Criss Angel for their use of stooges and edited camera work.

Well done for coming back :)
The Mark Wilson book that has been mentioned is a great place to start, you'll find plenty in there, as is Bobos Modern Coin Magic. Both of these are widely available and if you use the search function you'll find reviews on here.
Why not pop over to introductions and say hello :)

Well Mike,

If you are willing to part with your children's inheritance, follow the link to an on line store that has a whole section dedicated to the effects that Dynamo has edited on.........err that Dynamo performs on his show.

www.themagicshop.com (could be co.uk)

I may have been born yesterday but I stayed up all night.
