my ACAAN

Postby magicc » Aug 3rd, '11, 00:24

hi i recently tried my new acaan trick i thought up and was wondering what people thought.
a deck of cards are shuffled
by anyone
any face down card is selected no force at all
its returned once noted mentally by spectator
deck is again cut and shuffled by anyone
the spec names any number 1 to 52
for example they say 34
cards are dealt by spec u dnt touch the deck prior shuffle two
card 34 is the selected card
any number and card no force what so ever works every time

Interesting, I am fascinated with different methods for a card at any number routines. I also love effects where you barely touch, or never touch the deck.

Your description intrigues me.

This part confuses me.
Could you type out your description again in English instead of "txt speak" please?

The way you have described this effect just wouldn't work any other way than pure luck.

Ive just read your Indian rope trick thread too. Are you the new magical massiah, here to lead us to new heights?

You have stated above that the magi never once touches the cards during the while trick. Seeing as you mention it's not a forcing deck, the ball is in your court to prove me wrong that without pure luck, as described, it can't be done.

sorry i said that i didnt say it wasnt a forcing deck but neither is it a one way deck and the spectator freely selects any card from the pack

You could do something like this with a Monte Christo deck, but it would need careful audience management and a bit of luck.
