Hey guys.

For a while I didn't know flourishing was a separate art from Magic itself until I was about 16. But lucky I learned some on the way, probably bad but getting there. Been doing Magic considerably a lot longer.

If anyone can give me some tips and things that would be great!

All right. First I'm not a technical type person and cannot remember names. But your spider change, at least thats what I think it is called it looks like you are grabbing the cards by its edges and just flipping it over... It is supposed to look like the card changes it doesn't.

The rub away vanish, You pretty much give that one away with your sudden increase in speed and the drop of your hand. Slow down and cut out the sudden movements and it will be fine. You want to be smooth not fast. Speed comes after smooth.

Your back palm? Don't know where to begin. The vanish was fine, bringing it back? Hmm perhaps until you get that down a little better just leave the card vanished.

On the other hand. Most of it was great, sybil cuts were great, charlier cut was good especially with the twist all in all it is a great start.

My own variation as I couldn't afford Shapeshifter, but close to the move. But yeah, will work on it.

I don't like the whole bringing it back rotating it up kind of motion. Or keeping things very elegant. I like them unexpected and sloppy. But not enough to ruin the effect. Like I said I like to stick with my own thing. It was meant to look like I throw it back. So I think that may be irrelevant. I've performed it with the rotation and I personally dislike it.

Without having purchased it, you miss out on all the small technical details that the inventor has spent an incredible amount of time refining, working in/out of the methodology until they come up with the best possible version that they can.

It's a shame that such amazing sleights and effects some cost so much money. But yeah I completely understand what you mean.

I know that, but not everyone can afford everything sadly. Wish I could! lol.
