Hi guys, sorry if this has been covered already, but I've tried a search and for the life of me don't know what terms to use.
Anyway, I've recently started playing around with some coin magic, nothing fancy, just some 2p pieces for fun, but I'm having trouble with the sound of coins jangling and scraping being all too audible.
For example, I've finger palmed a stack of 2pences in the left hand and while examining it with my right, grab with the thumb (like a jw grip with the thumb) and roll it into a finger palm in the right hand.
I've seen the technique performed on a few vids, but never with the original sound...
Is there any kind of anti-clink laquer or varnish you can apply to coins?
Is it maybe just a matter of intense practice?
Do some coins clink more than others?
Cheers!
J
