It doesn't get more impromptu than spotting an opportunity and running with it:
I was in a KFC and I spotted that the straws were white with a blue stripe up one side and a red stripe up the other. Held it at the middle and showed the red stripe side to a fellow diner.
"These straws are weird. Why do they paint these red stripes on? What's wrong with a plain white straw"
*paddle move*
"They must have a machine that puts a red stripe up each side. What could justify the expense?"
*paddle move*
"Do people want a red stripe up each side? Do they need it? personally I'd prefer a blue stripe"
*give it a little shake and half turn.*
"See, much better"
*couple more paddle moves to show it blue on both sides then stick it in the cup and drink*
Sure it doesn't stand up to observation because the same straws are everywhere in the eatery, but a bit of fun for a minute or so and I felt quite pleased with myself for coming up with it on the spot.
Now to sell it as a £4 ebook called "super impromptu hyper straw!"
Hahahaha. No. I'll go sit in the corner now.
