Storing your gear?

Postby smidge146 » Aug 4th, '11, 23:16

I have alot of decks of cards and they just sit on top of my chest of drawers in an orderly fashion, I was wondering, how do you store your gear? I considering buying a flight case to store mine in :)

To a gig? Laptop bag.... Works wonders, Ultra board in back, clipboard in front of that, cards in front, blindfold, paper, books and pens in middle.

At home? ..... bits and pieces lying all over the place. I like that though, having props and books and things piled up. Makes the show seem like 'yours' when you perform it.

I use flight cases. The best of which is from Jessops and costs around £12. It has foam that is cunningly partially cut into tiny squares which can be plucked out to sculpt holes for your stuff. You might need to order it from their website though as I couldn't find one in the shop.

Mine is kept in my magic shed, along with all the power tools to make the stuff I need.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
