vegas Shuffle machine gaff

Postby Antera » Aug 11th, '11, 10:59

Stanford Uni have tested the new vegas Shuffle machines that replicate the "riffle shuffle"

it was found that experts could now guess correct 10% of a stack rather than 4.5% as was previous. I think that means that in every 100 cards you could guess 5.2 cards on average.

oh dear

( this was in New Scientist Mag a couple weeks back)
