I must agree the ladies are very easy on the eye, the ones on the Osterlind DVD seem to be even more so :-)
They are all paid to be there though, I'm going to have to go watch the Sankey DVD again now lol

Just to resurrect an old thread here.

One thing about the L&L Audience which has been bugging me lately is this - are they panto actors in need of cash or just people devoid of curiosity?

I find it hard to believe that anyone would sit through so many recordings, be so amazed they look like their brains have literally melted yet never have the curiosity to buy the books or DVDs they're sitting in on.

Surely after watching Richard Osterlind perform for 6 hours in front of a big sign that says "13 Steps to Mentalism" something would twig and they'd think "I might have a read of that".

As the old Billy Connelly saying goes "never trust a man who when left in a room with a tea cosy doesn't try it on"

I get people going to see magic and mentalism shows and wanting to be entertained and having no interest in the methods but being a mere step away from learning the techniques, what stops them?!

Unless they are all actors. In which case all is explained.

What happened to David?

I just remember his reaction to Malone's 3 Card Monte.

'Awww... S**T!!! '

Either he was the greatest out of work actor ever... or he loved magic.

The Mark Leveridge DVD has him using a very attractive blonde lady as an assistant. The best misdirection ever. I didn't watch Mark once!

Shame it's only a short clip, not the full routine.

Most of them are wined and dinned by the studio. Though i would think that after seeing so many performances of the same effects that it wouldnt be worth it after awhile. I know they are usually told to go crazy even for some lame stuff.

I will say they are better than jay sankeys audience, which went from one bird to just the camera man.

During a period of severe procrastination I discovered Leann and Scotty work for L&L. http://www.llpub.com/about-2/

So I guess a lot of the audience reactions are paid for / requested. :D

On many vids they ask them what they do . John reckons he was a carpenter, David is retired and watches TV all day another guy was a builder

Some of the Ladies work at L&L. Miss Mac, Renee and a few others whos names escape me right now.

From Multiplicity DVD

Max Maven= " Do you like Gambling Renee"

Renee = "Oh yes i gamble all the time"

Max = " do you win"

Renee = "No, not very often"

Max = " thats why your still working at L&L"
