Hello

Hi guys.

Been lurking and reading this forum for a while and decided to sign up!

I'm new to magic but I'm really enjoying it so far. I've performed for friends, family and colleagues up to now and had some great reactions, which just fuel the desire to learn more and get better.

Hope to do some walkaround/bar magic with the public after a few months of trying to nail a decent routine.

Best,

Ste.

Hi and thanks for the welcome.

I haven’t identified a favourite area of magic yet. I’m learning trick by trick and so far my repertoire covers the stuff in Jay Sankey’s basic DVD as well as a sponge ball routine and SV Deck as well as a gimmick coin.

I think the card tricks are getting the best response so I’m going to focus on that area for a little while now.

Ste.

Sounds good ste, hope you keep it up.

As you look round the board you'll see alot of people recommend Royal road as a great beginning book for cards.

All the best and hope you enjoy your learning

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
