to Mark Waddington and Mike Stoner!

Both of these have just approximately reached a year of going pro using magic as a sole income, and neither have starved to death!! I hope that I can be able to say the same in a years time!

I can't imagine it ever being an easy first year!

I raise my glass of orange and cranberry juice (mixed) to you!

Love

Chris

Cheers Chris and Tomo. Just doing my first year's tax return right now.

Two years ago I was learning the trade by doing magic in local pubs for £50 (something that I mentioned on TM and got crucified about). Glad to say that it's now £150/hour weddings, corporates for blue chips, restaurant residency, etc.

If you want to do magic full-time then I say go for it. But be ready to spend loads of time on the non-magic stuff like advertising, marketing, SEO, book-keeping, networking, etc etc etc. It's hard work, but being self-employed is brilliant.

Congrats. And why do they call them 'tax returns' I never get any returns, in fact I usually have to give even more!

Nice to hear that neither have starved but have they lost weight?

Seriously though, congratulation to a pair of really nice guys and may you both have many more years of success.
