Postby stevebo » Jun 12th, '05, 23:35

So quickly and yet another video! Here are my card vanishes! Again, from Oz Pearlman. (I'm like in love with him! Not literally)

Indeed - it may look good on camera but it's definitely too angle-sensitive to perform - try filming yourself from the side!

Great effects, Steve - but I have to go with Katrie. It's just not practical for me. Don't get me wrong - it looks REALLY cool (and you do it REALLY well), but I find it too limiting.

Although it IS angle sensitive, there is nothing stopping you from limiting the amount of people you perform it to! I've tried performing this to around 5 people and no problem! You just have to judge where is the best possible angle!

I'm assuming you all know what position I use to hide the card? :o

I PM'ed you asking to confirm my suspicions  Very nice looking vanishes. Vanishes are the coolest of magic tricks, IMHO.

The only thing you really have to worry about is your left side with that palm. On born to perform card magic, Oz does it head on to the camera. So you if there are 4-5 people, you could do it no problem.

Very nice, but i don't think the palm-effect makes sense. You "palm" the card, but your fist is closed.... But the rest is nice...
