Magnetic 10p - £11.99 – magicshop.co.uk

Not going to follow the usual review template as its largely not applicable to something like this. So about all I can say is that yes, it is magnetic and as for the realism……..

Well its that good that there’s one in circulation in the Midlands at the moment because after a thorough search with a magnet I can only conclude that I’ve managed to spend mine at some point on Saturday night.

The same thing happens with Eddie Gibson's Coin Unique. These are the £1 version (costing over £30) and I've been told of at least 4 which were spent accidentally. As a result, I occasionally check any £1 coins in my change to see if it's one!

I can just imagine every magician checking all their coins, for various gimmicks.
It would be quite lucky if you actually found one.
I'm off to check my coins, now!!

Even if Jing was joking when he typed that, I bet he still went to check :P
i think magnetic coins would be picked up by banks etc when they are looking for fakes, so as long as they dont exchange their cash, you might find one :P

Oh, and these are extremely real and easy to use. you just need a magnet :P

Let me know if you come across it. You will know it is mine as it looks just like a £1 coin

Hey, everything looks that bit more real when I am wearing my magic beer goggles :!:

Coin unique! I have now lost 2!!! First one went in a drinks machine the morning after a heavy night before. Most expensive can of Fanta I have ever bought. 2nd one went last saturday, I put it in a shopping trolley fully knowing that it was my gimmick. When taking trolley back and struggling to get my 2 year old son into the car, an old dear came up and gave me her pound coin for my trolley. I was caught unaware. Realised 3 miles away... Doh!

I bet the old dear was Eddie Gibson in disguise - just drumming up more business!
