I have not tried this but apparently there is an app you can install on mobile phones. You run the app and it listens to a few seconds of a piece of music then goes off to a database and looks up the song/artist.

Thanks for mentioning the iphone apps, I have both Shazam and soundhound installed on my Iphone, but none of them were able to find any matches. Then I tried Tunatic which should be able to figure out the sound streaming from your computer, but still no luck. I also tried searching on some of the lyrics in google..

Well done Arkesus! How'd you manage that? I tried to find out but had no luck. Can't believe they're a new Australian band. Sounded more like a 60s/70s American band. I might check out more of their stuff!
