Leeds Festival Footage

Postby Beardy » Aug 30th, '11, 15:41

Hey guys

I was invited to perform for the crowd outside the main stage at Leeds Festival 2011 just before the Headliners came on to perform. Here is just one group of people that were entertained

You can't see everything that goes on due to the angle of filming, but it's a nice fun video to watch.

Enjoy!

Love

The guy with his shirt off looks like he's being shown fire for the first time. Hilarious.

Wow, that's just fantastic.

The coin move being obscured by camera angle that drives them wild after the finger roll, was it a muscle pass? Just wondering what got that reaction from a slightly addled crowd so quickly.

I've never seen cutlery bending done with individual fork tines! Where did you learn that? Until I saw that I had zero interest in learning (spoon bending has a bit of a reputation these days and I'd never seen any other kind of metal bending)

Awesome fork bending, Chris! I bought one of the DVDs you recommended and will be moving on learning it properly it soon. I've gone through it once but really need a trip to Wilkinsons.

You got some great "WTF?!" faces from that lot and some belly laughs from me watching their reactions. :)

Hey Stacy - I learnt the basic moves from Morgan Strebler's Liquid Metal DVD. Since then I have created my own routine, though I didn't want to do my personal routine when it was being filmed.

In answer to your other question, yes it was the muscle pass! I can get a 50p coin muscle passed just shy of 2 foot now depending on how cold I am!

And Dave - good! At 6 for £1 from Wilkinsons, they are very good value. Much better quality that the 4 for £1 ones from the £1 shop too. They are way too flimsy. A good stick fork (ooh err) is exactly what you need. If they are stiff people can't see a methodology. Follow it up with a coin bend, and you have shafted them. On an average night I go through about 100 forks nowadays. Wilkinsons must love me!

Love
