Hello everyone,

I've been in here for a couple of weeks now - what a great forum! I have only very recently taken up magic (after looking for the 'vanishing cigarette' trick and finding the old TT!). Absolutely engrossing hobby, although is kind of addictive in a 'home shopping' kind of way!

I've learned loads over the last three months and, is it just me, or does everyone get a huge surprise to find out how many people/shops/everything is out there catering to the world of magic?

Nice to see a strong Welsh contingent here, although I have noticed no clubs or assoc. in South Wales. I notice that you are from Powys, Siege, what parts (Powys being a big county 'n' all)? I live just outside the South border.

:)

The shops thing is an odd one isn't it? I only know of one, up in North Wales (not that I've been there). And of course, a couple of welsh E-bay traders (always a great place to buy props if you do your homework on the prices first!)

A shame about you being badgered Rdw!

Hwyl

(D'ya think that all of the Welsh greetings and goodbyes are going to convince everyone in here that we are 'The Taffia')

Been badgered a bit lately in work...

if we are the Taffia, what would we have in our violin cases?

They look amazing. Certainly looks like you get what you pay for! Strictly for the working pro, though. (Just don't forget which hand it's on or you could be tugging on the wrong thumb).

Violoin cases should (Gospel according to Max) contain large Leek and wad of doctor's papers.

Well done on the grand slam (gnash, gnash, grimace) - think I'm ransferring to the church of Wales after this job, seems full of magical tyes.

Welcome (creosote :-) ),

Vic

Ah..sunny Tamworth!

My first girlfriend was from Tamworth, and I spent some happy times there as a child.

Nice to see your grasp of the language...coming along nicely
