Psychic Sally not so psychic it seems

Postby me_simon » Sep 13th, '11, 12:16

This has been making the rounds on Twitter.

The caller on RTE Radio 1 (listen to Liveline podcast- Psychic towards the bottom of the page)
http://www.rte.ie/radio1/liveline/

And the Independent are the first to run it in print

As much as I'd like to see her empire crumble, the fact Peter Popoff returned is sad proof faith can be blind to facts.

personaly, i cant see much of a story here. Follow spot operators do talk all the time.
And since the audience seems to be 99% shut eye, im not surprised they had no complaints.

Possibly the one person to notice this, was in fact psychic themselves, and were picking up on the spirit guides, at teh same time as Sally

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

Same old trick which has been used for centuries - create a bit of controvery which is picked up by the press and the result is shedloads of publicity which money can't buy!

John Edward played a venue in Dublin two years ago - two shows a day for six days, with a minimum of seventy euros a ticket. The manager of the venue told me that they gave him a cheque for E250,000 at the end of the week. So I think Sally, conwoman though she is, will not be too worried.

But it does highlight once again the power of a show based on readings, and makes me wonder why I took so long to cop on to it.

While we are on this subject you might like to see footage of a Canadian psychic fair. If you keep your eyes open you will see both me and Paul Pacific at work for a few moments.

And here is another one. You will see me for a few seconds at the very beginning but you will also see my banner saying "Mark Lewis-Famous Irish Psychic" just behind the lady who is being interviewed at the beginning.
