Iv'e just come across the news that Chanel 4 are in the process of making a brand new 90 minute documentary on the life and career of Tommy cooper, and it is due to air some time during the Christmas week.....

Interviews with his peers of the time and stories from friends and families can make a superb docu if pieced together right

I dont know if anybody esle saw it, but last night on BBC4, there was a half hour doccumentary on the "art of tommy cooper" Which covered much the same ground as the C4 doc. It was in many ways much more informative, because over the voice overs, they showed footage of Tommy rehearsing the act prior to broadcasting.

They also mentioned that Dove gave as good as she got.
