It is worth watching every single episode just for Dean (Jensen Ackles) doing "Eye of the Tiger".

I've finished watching season 6 of Supernatural and season 7 of Buffy (both watched from start) this week.
Now where do I go?! I'm starting on Dexter to see how it goes.

Reccommendations to anyone else would be: Doll House or Sanctuary

Dexter is absolutely awesome mate. In fact it's beyond awesomeness - it may just be the best show ever filmed. Seriously.

Any other suggestions for shows to watch? I generally have 2 series on the go at any time so I need another

I have heard the Wire is good if you like The Soprano's.

The Soprano's is good but I do not get the hype, it wasn't that good.

Some of my favourite TV shows ever would be; The X Files, Buffy, Angel and Star Trek from my youth and The Mentalist, Supernatural, Heroes, The Inbetweeners, True Blood and Dexter more recently.

I too would like suggestions, I have heard House, Lie To Me, Dollhouse and Warehouse 13 might appeal? Opinions?

Yeah, the Soprano's was good, but you're right, I wouldn't put it in the same league as Buffy and Angel

The Wire probably wouldn't be you cup of tea to be honest, its even more gritty, real life and harder to follow

BUT IMHO, could be the only thing to surpass the Soprano's

Fringe might be for you. Sci-fi type stuff that was highly rated

From a pure entertainment point of view neither would I.

The acting was good, the story worked well but about halfway through it just got a bit... predictable? You know exactly which character is going to be offed as soon as you get past episode 2 of any given season.

Now Buffy on the other hand... Who can honestly say they did not feel moved to tears when Spike and Drusilla used Angellus' blood to open the hellmouth and Willow returned his soul just too late!

Doll House is amazing. But then it is Joss Whedon with a very Joss Whedon cast!
On that note............ FIREFLY! If there was ever a series it was a crime to cancel................... GAH!

I'm thinking of starting Battlestart Galactica (remake, dont like old stuff)

Cant beat Spartacaus blood and sand and gods of the arena ! The ultimate show !
