Not sure why, but that does remind me that Game of Thrones was the last great TV show I watched

How much hijacking here?!

Are you watching closely? Then I'll begin...

*Adds Game of Thrones, Dollhouse and Fringe to his watch list*

A friend of mine loves Battlestar Galactica, I used to watch the old series when it was on BBC2 (at the time when Captain Scarlet, Space Precinct, Buck Rogers, Farscape were also on).

I have seen a few episodes of Dr Who (David Tennant version) and really liked them but my wife is not a huge fan of sci-fi, although I can slip darker supernaturally stuff past her on occasion, especially since she became enamoured with Eric in True Blood.

Edit: Oh and while we are talking dark and weird American Gothic was absolutely brilliant! *Goes to look and see if it can be bought as a boxset*

Boston Legal. Best. Damn. T.V show. Ever. First half of the season 1 is no good but it quickly finds it's place. Funny, witty, insightfull and the only show I've seen that allows characters to be strange or eccentric without them becoming farcical or losing their humanity.

I now respect William Shatner based purly on this show. Like firefly it was unjustly cancelled by fox but they managed to get out five seasons before ending.

Seriously, everyone stop whatever else your watching, and watch this. Push trough the first bunch of episodes and wait for batman to show up, thats when it gets good. I guarantee you will not regret it.

f*** it if you live in or near London get in contact with me and I will give you my first season boxset for free.

I honestly cannot describe how good this show is, they should have sent a poet.

The new Battlestar Galactica will make everything else you've ever seen fade in comparison. I'm really jealous of people who haven't seen it yet, because they can experience it all for the first time. I seriously can't describe how good it is.

Game of Thrones is pretty good too, really enjoyed that. Dollhouse too.

The character of Alan Shore is one of my favourite ever TV characters.

I love the episode where he pays some guy in a bar to beat up some other guy, then causes a huge bar fight! :D

Personally, not a fan, but like you said it's better to watch magic than no magic at all......

my own opinion, and this is my own opinion, is that he uses too many stooges/camera tricks. To me personally, that's just not magic.
