I apologise if this has been posted before, I haven't spent much time here since the new look went live. I really don't like it.

I thought however, that you all might like to know that over on the Theory 11 web site they have set up something called The Wire. Here, people are invited to make videos of their own effects - and the explanations to go with it - and upload them to The Wire after which Theory 11 will then QC the effect and video, and if it passes mustard they will sell them on for you - probably to the Youtube magi you all love to hate - as downloads at a price you decide.

I know there's many a sharp magical mind on this forum, and I know that many of those sharp minds come up with some wonderful effects. It might be an opportunity to make some money out of all that thinking time, and old effects you no longer use. I have a few I might work on and see if they get accepted. It'll be a welcome few bob a month if indeed they do. You can even, if you're holier-than-thou and nail yourself to a cross for your art, give a trick or two away for free out of the kindness of your cold, black heart.

Not sure how the Mods will react to this post because of the whole money thing, but do feel free to chop it and change it if needs be.
