Hello, I'm new :)

Postby AlphaWolf » Oct 3rd, '11, 20:46

Hi everyone.
I've been into magic since I was young, having the odd magic set and trying to learn small sets. I'm currently 17 and would like to learn a few tricks.
I'm hoping these forums will be great for sharing and finding ideas.
Can anyone recommend me a place to start? Although I thought I was good before, I was still a kid, so I'm probably pretty bad xP
Any help is much appreciated :)

Many of us began with a couple of decks of bikes and the Royal Road to Card Magic book. The Mark Wilson Complete Course in Magic is another great book. For coin magic many of us used BOBO modern coin magic. Once you progress you may want to look at the Card College books, very good books that should be every magician's shelf.

Hello and welcome.

Read just about every sticky post on this forum and you'll have a good idea as to where to start.

Then share and contribute and you'll be away in no time. :)

Welcome to the forum

A great way to learn is to post in the forum the sort of thing you would like to learn, people will give you solid pointers and you can go from there

Good luck

Are you watching closely? Then I'll begin...
