hi there... i was wondering, is there anything out there electronically to detect a movment of an object which only the magician could no eg 'someone picks up an object and the magician knows what item has been picked up through a vibraion device' ? the only person who i can think of who materialises these products is christopher taylor.. but i can t seem to find anything what i was interested in... thats if something like this is even available ,

I like the look of the FMT-2 from subversive. That and a curiously strong magnetic £1 could be fun. Has anyone used this? I gather from the user manual that I couldnt use it while wearing a t-shirt.

may sound like a dumb question but on the movement sensors for the hydra......... are they wireless?? as the pictures show a little wire coming from off the device but the photo is cropped and doesent show if the wire is a small 20mm length or a 2m length which plugs into your hydra/?? thanks..

The wire is the aerial.

In all honesty, it seems that the Hydra concept was a little too advanced for the community. We've taken the underlying tech and used it in our subsequent work. We're again working on the FMT-3 (it transmits!) and an associated receiver that will also take the signals from the movement sensors.

So the FMT-3 will be similar to the FMT-2 only wireless? Or am I completely wrong?

Yes, it'll be in two parts. A very small transmitter with an updated version of the FMT2 software, and a universal receiver.

well what be the difference between the hydra and the FMT ? can someone please explain the REAL pro's and com's for newbie to electronic magic before i buy???????

Are we talking about a detector that could e.g be put under a watch strap with a remote receiver/thu***r that could be put in a pocket?

That would be excellent! I was looking at Sixth Sense but I prefer the pole awareness of the FMT-2. If the FMT-3 is what I think it is, it's a no brainer!

And I'm sure your pricing would be very fair going by your other products! .
