bikes and tally hos are hard to come by in U.K. (well it is for me) so i have to order my bikes off of amazon in 12 packs. ive handled tallys before and i think bikes are more air coushenedand fan and flourish better plus i love doing the lepaul spread with them. hope this helps.

when i first started in amgic almost a year ago bikes were everywhere and so they were my first deck and awesome they were because i was used to plastic coated cards. yes im a fool!

haha anyway i decided to get some tallys when ordering from magicbox and they were well i think maybe slightly thicker if anything and work with the snap change a whole lot better but maybe its just me.

id like to see what the whole tigers, ghosts and masters buzz is all about so ill have to ask seige if NUMS will be getting any masters decks in soon!

EDIT: tallys are cheaper then bikes now @ magicbox so go get a deck of each or a case! because even if tallys arnt better for u they wont be any worse.

Masters aren't as good as tallys. I got a deck and within a week they had a click to them, and they weren't as slick as I'd like them to be. Now they feel kind of, well, stodgy. (So much for ellusionist... )

Tallys are very nice when you first get them, but with use they seem to deteriorate and get quite spongy, so after a week or two's work with them I'd say that bikes are better, they fan better and retain their slickness, where as the tallys don't.

My all time favourite deck at the moment is Bee's, they are thinner than the others but have a great snap to them and feel more fabricky (real word?) than the bikes or tallys. I almost dropped mine out of the box, and they just feel so great and brilliant. I wouldn't go for another ellusionist deck.

I am also very impressed with the ruggedness of bikes. I got caught in a rainstorm and they got soaked, the whole edges were blue and horrible, but I left them in the box and let them dry out, and after cracking them apart they fanned beautifully (apart from the horrific bow :( )

From what i have seen XCMers (Extreme Card Manipulators) love Tally Ho's, I'm not exactly sure why. My best educated guess would be either the finish or the design is more visually appealing during the card flourishes. More magicians prefer bicycles, especially American magicians (which I am) due to the long standing familiarity of bicycles in the states. For the magicians who use Ellusionist's specialty decks, which I adore, the spectators are more likely to assume trick deck (if they know what that means) or they may be more interested in the deck than the magicians instructions. Plus bicycles are cheap, abundant, and easy to find; where as tally ho's are in need of special order.
