Coinvexed 2 Variations

Postby morrowsean » Oct 31st, '11, 18:58

Hi All,
I received my Coinvexed 2 by David Penn today. Really excited about it, Great quality but was quite disappointed with getting just One routine explained on the dvd.
David Penns routine is good, but im trying to come up with a way only one coin can be used, signed and bent with all the misdirection needed. Any ideas on other Variations i could use?

Overall 10/10!!

Thanks!

There are quite a few ways.

I use the two coin version which is the easiest and leaves you with all the misdirection in the world to do your stuff.I suggest you play around with the 2 coin version to build confidence and to give you an idea how much misdirection you need to do the move.

Once you have a feel for it you will realise that you need no more than 2 seconds of eye contact for it to be done.I suggest you give them something to do though because if you dont misdirect their attention away from your hands 100% your actions will look a little odd

Ok, well is their any other two coin variation? I dont like the initial and stickman idea. I agree with you on the great misdirection jst not the routine itself.

To be honest I don't really like the 2 coin idea but I do it anyways for convenience.I don't like David Penn's presentation either so I tweaked it a bit to suit myself more and to generate more humour.having said that I'm not entirely happy with my own presentation so I'm still working on it.

I tell them to write their name on the first coin.then tell them to put the name of someone they do not like on the second.I find that saying this has them thinking so hard that you can do the bend before they even pick up the second coin.

If you want me to divulge the rest of the presentation then I'll have to charge you.Nah just messing.pm me for the rest of the presentation if you want.I also know of a few other ideas too

Hello morrowsean,

I have "Coinvexed" by David Penn.
It's a wonderful idea, but not the kind of magic I am into.
Didn't realise this when I bought it.
It's only been watched once, & nothing has ever been used.

So if anyone is interested in this item.
I would be willing to swap it for another jar of pickled onions, (& no M, I'm not sending you anymore )

Hope you don't mind.
