That's a lovely effect.

Without wanting to appear negative, I suspect that this one seems more impressive to magicians, than to layfolk.

There's numerous 'spell your card selection' routines, contained in mainstream 'hobby magic' books and children's magic books, and I feel that the real impact of this effect will be lost on members of the general public as a result.

From the perspective of a magician, though - yes, this is nice
