New front teeth for me would be great.

I agree on the kindle being the best gadget however PLEASE set the 3g one if you go abroad for holidays. Not becuase you can't load enough books on there before you go but the 3g is free all over the world and you can check emails and news on the go. I have the Wireless only one but now I know that I wish I had the other one.

And I can't think of anything I want for xmas - - - Certainly nothing magic wise, maybe an impossible bottle?

Does the Kindle have a browser then? :? I've had one for about six months and I honestly didn't know that, how do you get to it?

That's all some people want for Christmas.

I had a nice magic-related birthday pressie from my wife (John Riggs books), but for Christmas I don't have any magic stuff on the list. The nearest is Harry Potter Cluedo.

Colin's been very mysterious about wanting to order something for my Christmas present. I suspect it might be a full-size skeleton. Which would be great, even though it's not a real one. And even though we have nowhere to put it.

I'll probably end up buying myself a bagful of secondhand games from CEX.

I have no idea what on earth to give Colin for Christmas. We tend to buy what we need or want whenever it's available, so when Christmas and birthdays roll around there's not much we feel deprived of.

sorry to hijack a bit - its under 'experimental' in the settings menu

xmas wise I'm not getting anything magic, i've banned myself so i learn to use what ive already got. I've asked for some sons of anarchy and breaking bad dvds - i always get into shows too late but ive been told these are worth watching.

No kidding, keep an eye on your local Aldi.

When I had my gall bladder out last year, as a get-well present Colin bought me the softest, warmest, snuggliest velour dressing gown you ever saw, in deep burgundy. It was so nice that, when they got some more in a few months later, he grabbed a black one for himself. We've seen them there once or twice since, and now that winter's on its way they're likely to offer them again.
