I'm sorry if there's already a topic on this one, but I couldn't find it!

I was thinking of visiting this years convention of International Magic. Probably some of you visited a previous one before. Is it worth going to? I was wondering who's going to lecture but it's not on the website (yet?). I thought I read somewhere that mr. Burger was going to come though!

If you advise this one, should I go for the entire weekend? Thanks in advance!

I've been twice to International Magic Convention in London. Both times I traveled from Iceland on Friday and went back on Monday. If you are traveling from The Netherlands you should not cut your visit short.

It has been a wonderful experience for me, both times, and this year it will be the 40th one, bigger and even more interesting ... and even longer.

The 40th International Magic Convention takes place 18th-20th November 2011, with plans to run workshops and shows in the week leading up-to the convention in the marvellous Mermaid Theatre.

Many great International Stars are being lined up, including: Eugene Burger, Max Maven, Jerome Helfenstein, An Ha Lim, Larryh Hass, Simmons & Simmons and David Williamson ... plus many, many more!!!

The London Festival of Magic on Monday 14th to Thursday 17th. November. Comedy Night, Burlesque Night, Bizarre Night, Mentalism Night and many more in the brilliant bridewell Theatre.

If you have the chance, you should definitely go for it at least the whole weekend, even more.

I most certainly recommend it!

I remember when Ron started the very first one. I would have been astonished if I had known how many decades later it would be still going stronger than ever. Of course, I hadn't developed my psychic powers then. Which reminds me. My psychic DVDs have finally arrived from International Magic. It has taken nearly as long as the day that Ron started the first International Day of Magic. Or at least it seems like it!

I will be attending on the Monday night and the Tuesday all day.
