I'm trying to register to magic cafe because I want to get involved in some topics there but I am not getting the confirmation message so I can't get involved in the discussions and it's killing me.

Anyone knows why I don't get the confirmation message?

Did you sign up with a free Email? I tried with Hotmail and Gmail and it is rejecting both! I had to use the girlfriends university mail to sign up!

I have a website and I use an email I have there to sign up. It works but I'm not getting the email so I can confirm.

I finally managed to register, a friend has his own e-mail server, so, he let me use his.

Ok..but can anyone answer my questions...or can somone help me and ask in the cafe why this happens?

It is usually either because they don't like the look of your email address and suspect it is free and unpaid for, or the email they are sending you is going straight into your spam folder. That's usually the two reasons.

It can't be the first as I have an email adress at my website webstylecreator.com and not the second as I don't have a spam folder.

A possible reason for being knocked back is an IP ban. When websites use an IP ban they often take out a huge number of people who weren't the intended target of the ban. I've been unable to get onto websites when someone else on my ISP has been acting up.

But why I can register as it says I will get an email to confirm but I don't get any!

Are you positive you haven't got a spam/junk folder??

I have a junk folder but I don't have any email in it. All the emails I get go to inbox.

It may be the hosting company who have blocked the email prior to reaching you. Have you added the site to your white list. This could be garbage but it is an explaination I was given. Facebook frequently does this. Also have you contacted the cafe awkward ing thwm this question

More importantly, why would you WANT to register at the magic cafe?
