Pure matter of opinion, however, i find facebook easier to navigate. Bebo seems to be more for kids. OK, so I am one, i still prefer facebook.

All the best,

I use both bebo and facebook. They both do have their uses but I must admit that bebo has some technical issues. For those of you with a bit of web development knowlage. It seems that bebo (used to anyway) stores the id relating to what gallery / profile / friends list you are viewing in a session variable. Which can play havoc with the tabbed browsing features of the current generation of web browsers.

That being said though, it does appear to be fixed now, but it was an issue for a long time.

Also, it's very gaudy =P

I just got involved with Facebook.

I've added a few of you who I could find/recognise. Just search for me by name - I only had an old (young looking!) photo on this laptop and I certainly wasn't going to take another at this time of the morning!

Gotta laugh when you get a chance to see predictions like that. :)
Nothing personal, it's just amusing.

I always use Facebook, it's a great way to chat with famous entertainers that I would never get the chance to meet in person, also, it keeps you informed on certain current events.

The Manchester magic and hypnotism group has its owns Facebook group.

With hindsight, this reminds me of a joke from the '80s:

It's 1983, and two kids are sat talking. One says "I found a condom on the veranda yesterday." The other asks, "What's a condom?".
Jump forwards to 1985. One kid says, "I found a condom on the veranda yesterday". The other asks, "What's a veranda".

A very tight group I belong to on another forum has a Facebook group on the side. After years of persuasion, they finally got me to sign up. So I'm on Facebook, but really only for that one group.

Any TM-ers are free to search for me (Roberta Davies, Bolton) but it looks like my Facebook URL doesn't work -- presumably because I use secure signup, so my profile's not publicly available. The group I'm in is secret, so you can't find it even if you're on Facebook.

If it helps, my current profile picture is the NaNoWriMo stamp:

After November I'll be switching back to my normal picture:

As one of the few people who is not on FB, I simultaneously feel lucky (when I hear about the drama) and like I'm missing out on something... Still not sure which is true ;)
