Tabula Mentis X

Postby Ant » Nov 13th, '11, 11:40

What a thoroughly excellent day.

It was excellent that the lecturers did not just sit and wait for their lecture but actively took part throughout.

Nice to meet many of you and have a proper chat for the first time; Paul, Tomo, Simon, Madelon, Evie, Iain, Jonathon, Dale, Gordon, Kev and Luke.

Chris you don't count as I spend more time on the phone to you than my own wife and if I missed anyone my apologies and I am sure it was nice to meet you too.

Not only was Luke's lecture particularly excellent (and generous!) but the whole day and after event discussions over dinner and drinks was exceptionally insightful. For those of you that have not been to a Tab Mentis, make sure you come to the next one.

If nothing else it was worth it for Simon's Vodka Shot Trick! (Okay it wasn't even worth the wait or the cost of the shot but... :D)

Big thanks to the Psycrets team for another great event.

Well there's no accounting for taste! Thanks again for the shot and the shooting. The video is already up on the Youtubes.

Haha! Some worried expressions there though it's hard to work out exactly what's going on.
Sounds like you all had a spiffing time.

Currently on the train back with Beardy.

A spiffing time was indeed had! It was great to see everyone again and to put names to new faces. :)

Dear All,

it was a pleasure to meet at least some of you in person;
even if the limited time didn't allowed us to give our attention to all of you to the degree that you definitively deserve.

Maybe we'll have a little bit more time next year.

Cheers
Th.

It was a superb day. All the discussions were top shelf, and Luke's contributions were marvellous. Great to meet Thomas and Rainer, as well as many others yesterday. TMXI is looking great already 21 April....

Thanks to all who came and look forward to seeing some of you next time!

It was great fun, very sociable, and what a lot of great ideas are bouncing around in my head right now. But nobody told me the undergound doesn't run during the night - it took me hours to get back to the airport!

Ah gutted I didn't get the opportunity to meet you Tony. If I had known you were stranded I would have given you a lift to the airport. I remember going clubbing in London one night to some special event, club closed at 3am and several hundred annoyed, cold, clubbers being stuck outside the tube station waiting 3 hours for it to open!
