A.N.T, Dale, I would have said Hello, but the problem is you don'k know who is who. A friend of mine told me to say hello to Chris Beard, but I didn't find out who he was until he was gone! It's always the way. Next time.
Freddie, you will have the report some time tomorrow. I thought of doing it tonight, but I had two long gigs today, and I am just chilling out. It's a lazy night with a good malt.

It was another good day. I really wish I could have stayed on a bit afterwards, but with the Tubes acting up again, and stuff to do when I got home, I had to head straight back to the station. Tony, on most weekends half the London Underground lines don't run during the day. I assume you were the gentleman at the back of the room, but I didn't get a chance to say hello.

I think I will have to bite the bullet and stay overnight following the April event.

Luke was the highlight everyone was expecting (and such an obliging guy too; I am sure plenty of people took him up on his kind offer), but I thought Derek's lecture was highly entertaining, bearing in mind it was on a subject that didn't particularly appeal to me. Robert suffered from the "lecture curse" though; if something is going to go wrong, it will go wrong in front of magicians. He had some great ideas.

Nice to meet you at long last, A_n_t. Todd, Barry, Dale, Beardy, Iain (in case he's lurking!) and Mr Grue - a pleasure as always.

i recommend the place where i stayed. 3 minutes walking distance to the Priory... and easy staggering distance from the pub afterwards.
