What to learn... what to learn....

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Expert Card Technique has so much invaluable advice, not just in the last few chapters but descriptions of moves and concepts that are way ahead of their time.

I'll agree with that.Although it might be boring the read,I find the material is excellent.Especially all the little nitty gritty sleights like replacing palmed cards, one hand top palm, side steal etc etc.I always go back to it every so often

Glad to hear it, because I am reading Royal Road at the mo (re-reading) and I am ordering Expert Card Techniques to follow on.

A Few weeks ago I was emailing Daryl (Fooler Doolers) with a few queries about his Enc of Card Sleights DVD's and somehow we got onto Literature

He thorougly recommended Royal Road to anyone (whether they be a beginner, skilled am / hobbyist) and then mentioned that the particluar route he took after Royal Road was Expert Card Techniques.

I believe he has read all of Giobbi's Card College series 1 - 5 despite knowing he would be covering some of the same ground he reckons they are 'excellent' and doesn't think 'covering the same ground' is necessarily a bad thing. (I'm not gonna argue with him)

He did not mention Mark Wilson's complete course but did praise Joshua Jay's Amazing Book of Cards
