6pm works for me, though I can't say exactly.

If it turns out it's just you and me, we should talk on the phone and meet somewhere directly where our tube lines meet. But if others are coming (such as Lenoir?) then the GF looks like a good option.

There will be no meet this week guys. (Just in case anyone was planning a surprise drop in!)

Next week I expect big numbers.

This week's meet is tomorrow (Wednesday).

I can be there from about 17:30-18:00, Lenoir can join us at about 20:10.

Somewhere near Marylebone would suit Lenoir as his train comes into that station.

Somebody suggest a venue.

And more importantly, who's in?

So far it's me, TDT and Lenoir, albeit a tad later.

Genuinely don't mind where we go...no need to be near Marylebone as I'll be traveling Eastward anyway...

Cool, that helps.

I'll leave the choice of venue up to a Londoner. Nothing daft like Wimbledon though...

Hello all,

I just posted an introduction thread and Ste was kind enough to invite me over tomorrow. If you want to know anything more / else about me please do feel free to ask.

I live and work in West London (West Kens) and finish around 6. I can make anything central within about 30/40minutes. Once a venue has been suggested I can give you all an ETA.

I'm looking forward to this.

Hope to see you all there!

I sincerely hope you have a great time but be aware that those guys may try to lead you off the straight and narrow and into the wicked ways of alcohol and carousing... if you're lucky  !

I hope I do too. Though I expect I'll be way out of my depth since I'm brand new to all this. What I lack in magician's skills I more than make up for in my carousing skills. I'm exciting for this!

OK, so we've got:

The Devil's Tailor (me)
Lenoir
Ste
a new chap named Chris
a new chap named FireBred

Where is good to meet? The pub we talked about recently, where the Central Lion meets the Northern Lion (Bank branch)? Or somewhere more central (around Soho)?

Holborn's pretty convenient from most directions, I think. The huge Wetherspoons is good for meeting friendly people (have performed there a fair bit). Booze is cheap as hell too of course, along with the "food".

Who's the boss?

OK, I'll start the bidding at Wetherspoons, the one by Holborn tube, come out the tube, turn left, it's about a minute's walk (probably hidden behind scaffolding).

Any advances on that? Anyone hate Weatherspoons too much?

There's the pub we met in a month or so ago, the Princess Louise, which is also near Holborn tube. (I don't live near Holborn, by the way; I just think it's a convenient place for many people. I might be wrong though.)

Bear in mind people are probably all in different parts of London this time, so it needs to be somewhere like Holborn or Soho, I'd guess.
