Reindeer Hats

Postby Chris Black » Nov 21st, '11, 11:19

Just dropped my 3yr old son off at playschool and he was wearing this (he wouldn't take it off) and they've asked me to come to the xmas party and make these and santa hats for all the kids!

That made my day, heh (and considering it's a day of marking essays, that ups the stakes a bit ;))

A friend of mine paints them, he does custom orders if ever you're interested. I think that one cost about £100.

Your 3-year-old looks very grown-up for his age. lol

I want to be a magician when I grow up.

I was thinking... Painted balloon hats for £100, I am in the wrong business !
Then I re-read it.

It is indeed. I got the instructions from here:

http://www.balloonhq.com/column/dewey/dec03/

I just switched the round red balloon with a tulip twisted segment.

That looks good, I'd like to learn how to do these one day. I think they're great for kids party's because there cheap to produce but the kids love them

Made some balloon reindeer antlers yesterday - but I made them with a twirls, attached to a hat.
Inflate the balloon, wrap it round your hand and arm and hold for 20 seconds, then let go.
Luckily the kid wanted to be an orange reindeer, which is good, because I haven't got any browns.
