Table magic at restaurants - recommendations?

Postby Sinclair » Nov 24th, '11, 18:02

Hey guys
My girlfriend is a bit of a fan of close-up magic (luckily for me - I pulled her shortly after performing Design For Laughter from RRCM), and for our 6 month anniversary next month, I thought I'd take her to a restaurant where a magician does some tricks at the table. Are there many places like that in London? Can anyone recommend somewhere with quality magicians and quality food?

Just tell us the restaurant and all of us from the London meet will come and perform at your table.

On a serious note, I've yet to see a table-hopper in my short time in London.

Really? Shame that - might have to resort to a home-cooked meal and my fumbling attempt at Out Of This World.

Table magic at restaurants for me is when all the meals actually arrive at the same time, with the vegetables too.....all hot....

The Devil's Tailor (Laurence) was working at Cornercopia in Brixton from time to time

'Laurence is now resident magician at Cornercopia restaurant in Brixton Village Market, though appearances are irregular so email Laurence to check.'

from his webpage

drop him a PM (he is a TM member) or email him
