I have to admit I am very excited knowing that I have Pure Smoke on it's way by next week and obviously want to start experimenting and writing routines as soon as I can!

Though I have a few basic ideas, I'm hoping for some creative insights or even possible gags PS could be used for!

coin vex

draw a stick man smoking a gigar, fold it up and vanish it in a puff of smoke.
card to smoking wallet, safer than a fire one.
scotch n soda routine were coper coin disolves into smoke and is captured in a box and re-solidifies.
draw a ghost on a coin and have it spirited away into echto-smoke.

I have had pure smoke for a couple of weeks now. I don't know about you but I'm 6'1 and find the device slipping up my sleeve a lot. So I went out and bought some 9mm clear tubing, the thinner the better. I cut of a 6 inch piece and attach it to the end of the cartridge, then heat the tubbing up with a heat gun, gently, and it shrinks slightly. I then attach this to my sleeve with some black bands and safety pins. This makes the exit hole much less visible and allows you to do jumping jacks with the device on.

Hey that's a great idea!

I seem to have the opposite problem of it slipping DOWN. (im 5'8") which I solve by using a tight cuffed shirt under my jacket, along with the sleeve-bag.

I hope to buy a couple more in the coming months (as money allows) Maybe have one fixed into a cloth-topped table.


A fellow magician I perform with is allot more imaginative than I, so we hope to work together and get some solid routines down

Danny, I use large safety pins at a few points on the inside of shirt/jacket, I place the tubing on the inside the safety pin and attach it to the shirt/jacket and that keeps the tube where it is. This trick defiantly needs a few mods to enable it to work how I think it should but hey that's half the fun!
