It's almost impossible to get a meaningful answer to this. The truly "killer" tricks come from your performance of them. Their power doesn't come from the method, but from you. As we don't know you, or much about you (other than that you've been doing magic for 11 years), I am not sure that anyone here can say anything that will really help.

It's not just you, by the way. I've drawn the conclusion that this type of question (especially ones that are so open-ended) probably never attracts really worthwhile answers.

Maurice Fogel used to get great reactions with things that are described in 13 Steps. Come to think of it, so does Derren Brown (although he and his team work hard to hide the origins).

I'll offer a suggestion. Not everyone will agree with it, but such is life (and performing arts). What if the real strength of mentalism is not how impossible something is, but the connection you establish with the audience and how you make them feel? (This is also relevant to magic, but is especially important to mentalism, in my opinion.)

Perhaps you are tired of the same old thing. Your audience has probably never seen the same old thing. I have to think if you have been performing for 11 years and have to ask this question then there is a problem. If you have a gig in a few weeks and want some 'killer' stuff. I have to assume the stuff you have now is not, 'killer'. I also know, and has been mentioned that effects are not 'killer' what you do with them how you perform them is what makes them killer. If after 11 years you don't have killer stuff, then you won't in the next few weeks.

So my advice. Stick to the stuff you have been doing for 11 years, obviously it has been good enough to get your this far. Also you are obviously not happy with what or how you have been performing. So go ahead with your boring stuff for this gig, but take a good long look at what you do now and figure out how to change it, go slow, learn well.

Thank you for the advice but It's just that doing the same routine again and again get's a little boring for me, i should be happy cause it works everytime better and better even but i just want to expand or change my repertoire and by ''killer effects'' i was talking about something that that will leave them thinking..look guys the thing is ,lots of tv managers will be there so that's why i wanna raise the bar a little..
