7.30pm on Wednesday 14th December (2 hours 30 minutes) on ITV1.
Peter Kay hosts The Royal Variety Performance 2011 from The Lowry at Salford Quays in Manchester in the presence of HRH The Princess Royal. The bill features the very best of British and international talent, including the legendary Tony Bennett, Cee Lo Green, Nicole Scherzinger, Barry Manilow, Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall, Penn and Teller, Il Divo, Leona Lewis and Pixie Lott. Plus Adam Cooper and the cast of the musical Singin' In The Rain give an exclusive performance ahead of the show's West End opening next year, and there are laughs from comedians Jason Manford, Greg Davies and Tim Minchin.

Also on ITV1 +1 at 8.30pm.

Watched it M.

They did the same coin routine they did for the "Penn & Teller Fool Em" programme.

Maybe we should send them a copy of Gary, & Lee's "iCandy" dvd
They may need some new material. :D

Unlike P & T who gave a lacklustre cups and balls.

And The lighting was duff, so as a result the tank didnt look right at all.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

I agree Dale, the lighting should have been better, no excuses as they managed quite stunning lighting for other acts. As for strangling the goldfish Carl, are you sure you weren't doing Cups 'n Goldfish by mistake?

They're on after an ad break, about 45 minutes into the show.

It's been many years since I watched one of these 'Royal' shows and I was surprised to see how near the knuckle (and beyond!) some of the jokes went. Tim Minchin was rather rude but his 3 minute song was superb in terms of comical content and timing, obviously a very talented chap.
