I posted a joke on here yesterday which has been removed. It was certainly not meant to offend anybody, so i apologise if it did.
I would like to share this rhyme with you, hope it makes you smile
I said to the girl 'pick a card'
I knew a trick that wasn't too hard
The gig was my debut
A trick that i may do
Was trying to win the girls heart
They told me to remain calm
It's a trick- you'll come to no harm
But when she picked the Ace
The look on my face
Was horror- that should have been palmed!
Quick thinking was needed i thought
Remembering all i'd been taught
A false shuffle or two
Its easy for you
With my luck I'm bound to be caught
'What was your card?' I enquired
Hoping she won't notice as i perspire
When she said 'Ace of spades'
Oh the mess I had made
I knew i should have retired
The Queen of hearts I was facing
My heart was pounding and racing
With a quick DL
Misdirection was swift
The Ace of spades appeared - no mistaking!
'How you do that?' came the cry
With a smile and a wink of the eye
I put the cards in their case
Made my exit with haste
It was MAGIC - no word of a lie!!!!
