I saw a magician perform a special levitation of a bowling ball. The ball appeared to fall up slowly.

It appears to be the same mechanism that Jeff McBride uses for his older mask act, where he puts the mask on the ground, but it hovers towards his face.

I got curious, so I was wondering, does anyone know the name of this effect, and where it has been described.

The hook up is very simple.
( the mask isnt the same method. As far as i am aware, that is EIT)
