What types of balls would anyone recommend that drop quietly into a brass cup. They have to be weighty enough to sleeve. Any suggestions appreciated.

Maybe the baseballs are what your after. I still think that nerf balls will do. Ive sleeved them. You just need to make sure you have a loose sleeve to begin with. I mean, look at all the stuff Rocco shoves up there.

Or how about solid rubber bouncy balls? They wont talk, and have a bit of weight to them.

Or monkey paw balls. These are just tightly knotted cord.if you want to go traditional, bread balls. Literaly white sliced bread compressed into a ball.

I'm not aware of anyone mocking anyone in this thread. Marshmellows have some weight, can be palmed and drop silently. They are also fairly easy to come by. Is it me you have an issue with or the use of marshmellows?

I also thought the marshmallow post was just a bit of fun but certainly had some merit inasmuch as they can actually be used as such props, I've seen them used as final loads in some C&B routines.

For non-edible versions the knitted or crochet covered items can be quite soft and certainly don't talk. I'd suggest a quick e-mail to Clive at http://www.cards4magic.co.uk to ask if he can advise which ones are the softest

I think marshmellows could be an interesting idea actually.

Off to invent a line of chop / colour changing / expanding / multiplying marshmellows now, see you in a bit!

You CAN use marshmallows as a load.

Sorry, as it clearly would be crazy to think one could sleeve and retrieve a marshmallow, I thought you were being sarcastic. My bad. I thought you were being sarcastic.
