Hi there peeps
2011 has been a good year for me.
I have auditioned on a show called britain does variety and i got through to the regional final round with my card trick
and then i did a good routine of tricks and i have a video of my performance here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m77JBTz9UJE" target="_blank Ive also done a street performance here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HLaP6mReng" target="_blank and i managed to get booked twice both by the same person for a charity event at sprowston manor hotel and a work do. He must of been impressed the first time and i must of impressed him the second time. I did really well with my tricks and i had some great reactions like:"I know a friend who does card tricks and you know they say you shouden't repeat your tricks well he does it over and over but i can usually work them out. but when you repeat yours i cant work it out, your really good your'e making my mind go numb"
"how on earth did you manage to get that coin in there. that's the best 20p iv'e ever spent"
I also managed to get 2 possible wedding bookings for this year
and i did a 3 day gig at a cathedral and i had some good reactions there aswell as performing for some younger kids.
I never thought any of this was possible until now.
If it wasen't for my first street performance while i was young in school (smarties magic tricks) then i may not have thought about doing this. But i appreciate the art for what it is entertainment and astonishment. so here i am welcome to a healthy 2012. happy new year folks.
