Whilst I'd normall be tempted by this, I've just downloaded a taster .PDF of Magicseen, to peruse on my Kindle, and it's DRM protected, meaning I can only read it on my PC, which I hate.

Sorry, Magicseen guys - you've lost a potential subscriber

What exactly is it? Is it a compilation of effects in a magazine?

And I assume if you've contributed something, Lee, without knowing what others have contributed, then there's no theme for the effects included?

From the Magicseen site ( http://www.magic.forgecom.info/magbooks.htm ) :

Best Of British contains routines from over 20 creative British magicians, including Wayne Dobson, Peter Duffie, Geoffrey Durham, Paul Gordon, Simon Lovell, Shaun McCree, Marc Paul, Scott Penrose, Mark Shortland, Paul Stockman and many more. It's a fabulous collection of close up, stand up and mentalism effects from stars who really know what they are doing, and it's a must-read publication for anyone interested in good quality routines. The book is nicely produced in soft back with clean line illustrations throughout by Magicseen's Design Manager Phil Shaw and is a worthy addition to any magical library.

Hello all, I recently remembered that a trick I perform is from this book. If you have a spare brainwave deck then check it out. It's Peter Duffie's Brainwoven
