A magician's assistant from Blackpool survived the cruise ship sinking. She was inside a magician's box at the time of impact and had to 'escape' from the box in the dark.

Perhaps the local magic community, or the convention, should recognise her ordeal with some sort of gesture.

Next month's Blackpool Convention ought to recognise her situation and the escape of a lifetime.

It is quite possible she won't want to be reminded.
It was great so many managed to escape. A horrible incident.
