Hi everybody, I'll lend you my ears...

Hello there, I've just been pointed in talkmagic's direction by Lee Smith. A friend put us in touch and to say I caught the bug is an understatement. 40+ hours a week and 3 months later I'm left wondering how I ever sat still without a deck of cards in my hand. I've got the basic sleights down and I'm just starting (the past few days) of putting my first repertoire together from a few classics and some new.
If anyone has any advise on seeking out theory to read, or anywhere I should bo looking for contempary artists I'd be greatful. I'm using College, Royal Road and Erdnase's Expert for my studies.
Any advise on nerve control would be fantastic, I'm getting there...but help is always welcome.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to giving and gaining with you all
Palmo

Hi Palmo,

A very warm welcome to T/M. If you listen to what Lee has to say and use some of his effects/ routines you will not go far wrong.

Lee has been a very good friend of mine for about 5yrs and we have done plenty of gigs together, and also pass on gigs to one another when we are double booked. He is a very well respected magician both on here and I would say in the UK.

All the best

Deano
