Some Advice needed!

Postby Stephen Ward » Jan 26th, '12, 19:18

Guy and Gals i need help (some would say not before time!). As some of you know i thought i had to quit normal magic (and did for over a year and a half) because of my injury. Now i have a big dilemma (oh matron!)... I just picked up a deck of cards and guess what? Full feelings in my hand, hardly any stiffness and i have been doing some advanced sleights with no problem again.

This is the problem, i have a weird feeling my elbow has recovered (i was told it may not) and i feel fit to do magic again. The problem now is that i have been doing my paranormal stuff and don't want to stop. However, i do want to do magic again. Although i sold some stuff i still kept my A sets. The phrase Jack of Trades comes to mind and i do not want clients thinking that. Maybe i could run two websites but not sure.

Thanks for listening and any thoughts are most welcome. NO i do not want to stop the paranormal!

Perhaps you could use a different name for one avenue of your magic, so have two very different sites with different names on. Nobody need know it's the same person doing two kinds of magic

The Dual identity idea is an excellent suggestion - I know a local GP who is a dab hand at car mechanics, currently restoring his third old spors car and he cold easily change careers if necessary. Just consider doing both types of entertainment as multitasking!

or you can use your super duper scripting ability to invent a stage persona that could fit both roles. Although, maybe, it's a terrible idea.
